You don't have to work through it on your own
A safe, compassionate space to talk, feel heard and begin to understand what you're going through.

If you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, grief, abuse, low self-esteem, or simply finding life difficult at the moment, counselling can give you the space to pause, breathe and talk about what's happening.
I'm Pip Willimott, a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Rewind Trauma Therapist, supporting children, young people and adults.
Based at The Reiki Room in Acle, Norfolk, I offer face-to-face counselling locally and online counselling across the UK.
You don't need to have everything worked out before you get in touch.
Free 15–20 minute initial consultation
A chance to have a chat, ask questions and see whether counselling feels right for you.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Perhaps you're:
-
Waking at night worrying or overthinking
-
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed or panicky
-
Finding everyday life harder than it used to be
-
Feeling low, stuck or unsure how to move forward
-
Struggling with confidence or self-esteem
-
Finding that something from your past is affecting your present
-
Experiencing grief, loss or a difficult life change
-
Living with the effects of trauma or abuse
-
Feeling alone, even when you're surrounded by other people
-
Finding it difficult to understand or manage your emotions
-
Not quite sure what's wrong — only knowing that something doesn't feel right
You don't have to be able to explain everything before asking for support.
Sometimes, having someone listen without judgement can be the first step towards understanding what you're feeling and what you need.

Counselling isn't about being told what to do or being judged for how you're feeling.
It's about having a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly and be listened to.
We'll work together at your pace, focusing on what feels important to you.
You may not always have the right words, and that's okay.
You don't have to talk about anything before you're ready.
My aim is to help you feel heard, understood and supported, while giving you the space to make sense of your experiences and explore what might help.
How I can support you
I work with children, young people and adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including:
Anxiety & overwhelm
Making sense of anxious thoughts, worries and feelings, and finding ways to manage them.
Trauma & difficult experiences
Exploring the effects of experiences that may still be affecting you today, in a safe and supported way.
Grief & loss
Having space to process loss and the many different emotions that can come with it.
Abuse & difficult relationships
A safe, non-judgemental space to explore what has happened and how it may have affected you.
Low self-esteem & confidence
Exploring the experiences and beliefs that may have shaped how you see yourself.
Children & young people
Creative and therapeutic approaches to help children and young people express feelings that may be difficult to put into words.
Neurodivergence
Working in a warehouse that respects individual needs, communication styles and experiences.
If you're not sure whether counselling could help with what you're experiencing, please get in touch. We can talk about it together.
A little about me
Hello, I'm Pip.
Choosing a counsellor can feel like a very personal decision. You may be wondering whether you'll feel comfortable talking to someone, whether they'll understand you, or whether you'll be judged.
I believe the relationship between counsellor and client is incredibly important.
My approach is warm, compassionate and non-judgemental. I want you to feel that you can come exactly as you are.
I have 25 years' experience working with children and young people, alongside my counselling experience with children, young people and adults.
I'm a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Rewind Trauma Therapist and Integrative Creative Supervisor. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, adapting our work to your individual needs.
A little reminder from the bumblebee 🐝
I often think about the bumblebee when I think about how we can
sometimes see ourselves.
For a long time, people believed that a bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly because of the way its body and wings were thought to work. But the bumblebee doesn't know that.
It simply flies.
Sometimes we can be a little like that. We can become so focused on what we believe we can't do, or what we've been told we can't do, that we lose sight of what might actually be possible.
Counselling isn't about telling you that you should be able to fly.
It's about creating a safe space to understand what has happened, discover your strengths and, in your own time, explore what might be possible for you.
You don't have to do it alone.🐝🐝

What happens when you contact me?
Taking that first step can feel daunting, particularly if you're already feeling anxious or overwhelmed.
I try to make the process as simple as possible.
1. Send me a message
You can email, phone or use the contact form.
You don't need to tell me your whole story. You can simply say that you're thinking about counselling and would like to know more.
2. Have a free consultation
We'll arrange a free 15–20 minute conversation, either face-to-face, online or by telephone.
It's an opportunity to talk about what's brought you to counselling and ask any questions you have.
3. Take your time
There's no obligation to book counselling after our conversation.
You can take some time to think about whether it feels right for you.
4. If we decide to work together
We'll talk about what you'd like support with and agree how we'd like to work together.
You remain in control throughout.
Trauma & Rewind Therapy
A gentle way to work with the effects of trauma
Some experiences can continue to affect us long after the event itself has passed.
You may experience intrusive memories, anxiety, fear or other reactions that feel difficult to manage.
Rewind Trauma Therapy is one of the approaches I offer to support people affected by trauma.
One of the things people often appreciate about Rewind is that you don't have to tell me every detail of what happened.
It can be used alongside counselling or, where appropriate, as a more focused approach.
I'll always talk through the process with you first and consider whether it is appropriate for your individual circumstances.
My approach
There isn't one approach that works for everyone.
I use an integrative approach, drawing on different therapeutic models and adapting our work to your individual needs.
This may include:
-
Person-centred counselling
-
Psychodynamic approaches
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Creative therapeutic approaches
-
Trauma-informed practice
-
Rewind Trauma Therapy
-
Inner child work
-
Attachment work
The most important thing is that we work together in a way that feels safe, appropriate and meaningful for you.

THE REIKI ROOM ACLE
You don't have to have all the answers
Sometimes the first step towards getting support is simply admitting:
“I think I need some help.”
You don't need to know exactly what you need.
You don't need to know what you're going to say.
And you don't need to make a commitment before you've had a chance to talk.
I offer a free 15–20 minute initial consultation so that we can have a conversation and you can decide whether counselling with me feels right for you.
Ready to take the first step?
No pressure. No obligation. Just a chance to talk.
